Billie Eilish Confirms She’s Recording a New Album in 2020, But It May Not Drop for a “Few Years”

The good news is that Billie Eilish will record a new album in 2020. The “bad guy” news? Fans may not hear it until 2021 or later. “This year? No, but I will be making it this year,” Eilish said about her next LP in an interview this week. “But next few years, it’s coming–when it’s made. It’s not made yet.” In the meantime, fans can at least look forward to Eilish’s theme song for the next James Bond flick, No Time to Die. It was reported last week that she’s co-writing the song with her brother and frequent collaborator, Finneas. The 18-year-old Eilish will be the youngest artist to ever record a James Bond theme song. No Time to Die hits theaters on April 8.
