The CEO of Live Nation, Michael Rapino, recently explained possibilities for the live entertainment industry to reopen.

COVID-19 has forced the entertainment industry to get creative in order to create experiences. Recently, countries like Denmark have tested drive-in concerts. Live Nation mentions they plan to attempt broadcasted concerts as well as drive-ins during the summer.

Rapino says the location of the drive-in concerts will all depend on policies of the state. He thinks we will see markets gradually reopening, unless there is a second outburst of COVID-19.

Over the summer, Live Nation will continue to test different types of concerts, whether it be fan-less or reduced capacity, in hopes to keep live entertainment going.

In summary,  Rapino shared that there will be lots of experimenting throughout the end of 2020 and they are hoping for a full reopen by Fall 2021!
