A Spring League Makes A Return

Parade Drama
Well it shows that it’s been 50 years since the city of Kansas City, Missouri has celebrated a Super Bowl championship because yesterday’s parade started off with drama that continued all day. An drunk driver broke through barriers and led police on a high speed chase along the parade route as fans were lining up for the festivities….
Cops were able to put a spin move on the car crash into it and then surround it and remove the drunk driver and passenger. Later in the day, a man showing his crack, fell out of a tree and a man standing on a horse in the middle of the crowd was detained and removed. In all five people were arrested and 25 people were taken to the hospital for various reasons.
Return Of The XFL
The XFL kicks off it’s season Saturday when the Seattle Dragons take on the DC Defenders with a very bad financial model….WWE owner Vince McMahon says he plans to lose around $375 million in the first three years of operation of the league…if it make it that long…he say that the league is projected to start making money in year four….The last time the XFL played games, it lasted one season…
Jimmy G Ready To Bounce Back
After falling short to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl in Miami, the San Francisco 49ers returned to Levi’s Stadium Wednesday morning for a year-end meeting and to clear out their locker room.
“Some things I’d rather have back, but this whole year has been incredible,” said 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. “This team, the players, coaches, it was a great group to be around. I enjoyed every minute of it. Terrible ending, but we gotta take the good with the bad.”
