Lionel Messi said he and other of Barcelona’s players are happy to take a 70% hit on their salaries and make additional contribution so that none of the non-sporting staff’s earnings will be reduced during Spain’s state of emergency, which has been in place in the country since March 12.

It is probably an easier hit for Messi….He makes in salary and endorsements $127 million basically pulling in excess of €600,000 per week from Barcelona.
