How close are live sports to coming back?  Well while Steve Kerr said he thinks that the NBA season is probably over, Major League Baseball officials are growing more optimistic about the chances of playing this summer.

Sources say MLB is preparing for a 100-game season down from 162 starting in late June or early July.   Teams would play without fans in attendance.  The league would also forgo their divisional format and move to three 10-team divisions aligned by geographical location, East, Central and West where they would probably pick somewhere between three and six locations where all the teams would be housed and play against each other.
