LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – JANUARY 31: The Los Angeles Lakers honor Kobe Bryant and daughter Gigi by covering the courtside seats they occupied with flowers, Gigi’s #2 Mamba jersey and Kobe’s #24 jersey before the game against the Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center on January 31, 2020 in Los Angeles, California. The plans for Kobe and Gigi Bryant’s Staples Center memorial are getting locked down and details, like who will speak and perform and who will be on stage for the service will be unveiled later today.

Obviously there will be a number of invited guests, family members, former teammates, etc who get tickets first, then season ticket holders will get ticket options.

Speculation is that the remaining seats in the upper bowl will be sold to the public at a price that reflects the memories of Kobe and Gigi…. $24.02 with the net proceeds going to a charity selected by the family.

Kap Moving on to His New Venture

Colin Kaepernick announced yesterday that he will release a new memoir through his own publishing company. Additionally, he’s inked a multi-project deal with Audible to develop original audio projects aimed at giving a platform to other authors, creators, and influential figures.

The memoir is described as “part political awakening and part memoir” and will see the NFL star and activist detailing his journey toward inspiring a nation with his silence protest act.
