Curry Scare Averted

Steph Curry’s return to Warriors didn’t last long.  He played one game and then was diagnosed with the flu.  The headlines were pretty shocking over the weekend with some people worried it could be Corona Virus.  However, the Warriors have said that test confirmed it is Influenza A.

We Play For The Fans

LeBron James said he “ain’t playing” if there are no fans in the arena due to concerns about the coronavirus.

The Los Angeles Laker spoke with reporters after the team’s win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday at the Staples Center.

“We play games without the fans?” James asked incredulously. “Nah, it’s impossible.”

NHL Maybe The Next Sport To Take Precautions

The National Hockey League will close the team dressing rooms to media for the time being as a result of a recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The NHL has already implemented a policy where league office employees are banned from traveling outside of the U.S. and Canada.  The league is still making decisions on the up coming Stanley Cup playoffs.  The deputy commissioner said they have considered playing games without fans if the threat worsens but they hope not to go that route.  Meanwhile, the NCAA has banned fans from an upcoming hockey playoff game later this week because the host school had at least one corona virus case….

I promise you it will take one player or one group of fans to get it and all these games will be either cancelled or played with no fans.
