Bay Area Grocery Store Sets Hours For First Responders Only

Modesto based Savemart Supermarkets which also operates Food Maxx and Lucky locations announced that they will be extending store hours to serve First Responders.
This comes after last weeks announcement of dedicated shopping hours to seniors and those vulnerable of catching COVID-19. Those hours will continue to remain in place and are Tuesday and Thursday’s from 6am – 9am.
All 205 Savemart, Lucky and Food Maxx locations in Northern California and Nevada will extend its operating hours starting TODAY. The stores will now open a hour early and close and hour later so all police, fire, and healthcare personnel during the coronavirus pandemic.
Here’s a breakdown:
Store Hours:
Monday through Sunday: 6am to 10pm
Tues/Thurs: 6am to 9pm (hour’s designated for seniors and those vulnerable to COVID-19)
Monday through Friday: 5am to 6am / 10pm to 11pm (hour’s designated to First Responders)
