By bigreid on June 8, 2020

Movie theaters have been temporarily closed for a few months now, and recently there two drive-in theaters in the Bay Area have reopened. There’s the West Wind Solano Drive-In in Concord and the West Wind Capitol Drive-In located in San Jose.
As of last week the Alameda County Fair grounds have decided to have their own drive-in theater!
From June 5th through July 25th on Fridays and Saturdays, movies will be played as apart of their pop-up drive-in theater! This week on June 12th they’re screening Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, and The Goonies on June 13th.
This week is already sold out, but you can purchase tickets for next weekends movies soon. Tickets are $25 per car and are $30 if you purchase them on-site. Each ticket comes with an admission ticket for the Alameda County Fair for 2021.
On June 19th they’re playing Jurassic Park and Grease on June 20th! Sign up for their e-news letter here to know when they go on sale and get info on more of their upcoming events.
