What do you get when you cross singing, dancing, a packed house of screaming fans and….camping?!?!? You get Justin Timberlake’s “Man of The Woods Tour”, and boy oh boy was it something special!
A show that was postponed back in December, due to bruised vocal chords, Justin came to Oracle Arena in Oakland where he sang, he danced and he brought the “SexyBack” to the Bay! Performing to a packed house with thousands of people, there was nothing but screams and smiles during the two hour, 21 song set list. And he did everything! “SexyBack”, “Cry Me A River”, “Rock Your Body”, “Say Something”, “Like I Love You”…..the list goes on. His band , The Tennessee Kids provided amazing sounds that got people into the groove. Justin ended the concert with his number 1 smash “Can’t Stop The Feeling”, you couldn’t help but feel like you were attending a dance party, in the middle of the forest.
He set the stage literally like everyone was in the Woods. With trees standing on the stage and at one point during the show, high blades of grass rising up and setting up a circle of log chairs and playing acoustic guitar around an actual campfire. The screens that projected his image were like mesquito nets that came down on and off throughout the night. It was very cool!
All in all, Justin Timberlake did not disappoint. He brought the fire to Oracle Arena and had everybody moving for an entire two hours! It was an epic performance by a true artist and entertainer.
