Disney World originally closed their doors in March, and after almost three months, they are ready to reopen. Disney World will be reopening on July 11th and implementing new safety and health measures that will keep employees and guests safe.
The parks will be operating with limited capacity and will not be selling any new tickets. Disney World wants to accommodate those that already had tickets and reservations first, before allowing new ticket sales.
They have also said they will not be doing firework shows or parades in order to prevent large crowds.
The new safety guidelines include:
- Required face masks
- Reduction in park capacity
- Temperature and health tests for employees
- Increased signage for health education
