As we move closer to phase three, nail salons will soon be allowed to reopen. The nail salons will legally be allowed to open this Friday, June 19th. Of course, things will not be the same and you will see changes inside salons.

Safety measures will be instilled in nail shops to increase hygiene. Customers and employees must wear face masks inside the salon, employees are encouraged to wear goggles or face shields to protect their eyes. Nail polishes will not be on shelf displays and customers will have to choose from a palette that can be disinfected. Lastly, Nail Technicians should throw away nail files and buffers after one use and change their gloves after every customer.

You can read the full protocol here.

If you do plan to visit the nail salon, please be safe and wear your face mask.
