The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Is Partially Open!
By on June 20, 2020
With today being the 1st official day of Summer…. you’re probably already trying to figure out what to do and where to go. No doubt that THIS Summer is unlike any other that we’ve EVER experienced! We’ve been sheltering in place for over 3 months now… it’s natural that people want to go out and enjoy the beach, some sunshine and maybe a corndog, salt water taffy or a funnel cake! Good news….. the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is partially open!
Here are things you should know as you think about going out to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The rides are not open just yet, but there are select games and attractions that are! You’ll find the arcade open, mini golf, some of the boardwalk shops and Neptune’s Kingdom are open.
The Laser Tag, Fright Walk and rides are still closed, but there are still other ways to have fun. Of course, some of the food stands are open thankfully!
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is open Mondays- Thursdays 11a-8p & Fridays-Sundays 11a- 9p.
When you get there, you’ll see that lots of safety precautions have been put into place to keep everyone healthy. As a Mom of 2, I appreciate that! There’s hand sanitizer stations set up along the boardwalk, you’ll see plexi-sheilds at the registers where you get your food/souvenirs & the big thing…. you’ll need to keep your masks on anytime you’re on the Boardwalk or walking through as well. That goes for the staff as well.
Here’s a list of what the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is doing to keep everyone safe! Check back with them often for updates throughout the Summer as more opens back up!
