The Bay Area is stepping up to help our friends and neighbors not sure where there next meal will come from. But one man in Marin took more than a step, he ran nearly a whole marathon! Dan Curtaz is the Dean of Students at San Jose Middle School in Novato so it’s safe to say, he knows a lot of people. Combine that with a love of running and that combination brought in some much needed cash for San Francisco-Marin Food Bank.

Dan told KRON 4 News “It’s crazy how much was raised. The day turned into something I never expected. I had people I haven’t talked to in years texting me and supporting me.”
