By Ellen Perez on April 3, 2020

AS WE GET TO KNOW MORE ABOUT COVID-19 AND WAYS TO PROTECT AGAINST IT ,EXPERTS HAVE GONE BACK ONTHE IDEA OF NOT WEARING A MASK IF YOU AREN’T SHOWING SYMPTONS!

Earlier this week St.John’s one thing to know was that it does NOT have to be a N95 but you should still cover up when out.

Imagine that!

Of course keep practicing good hygiene, wash your hands frequently and sanitize as much as you can BUT also cover up with even a scarf when out and about.

Don’t have anything to cover up …NO WORRIES….here area few ways you can create a mask using things around the house!

P.S This does not replace what a N95 mask would do but it sure does help!

YOU CAN MAKE IT OUT OF COFFEE FILTERS

For this you will need; 2 Coffee Filters, Rubber Bands, A Stapler and Hole Punch.

YOU CAN MAKE A MASK OUT FROM  A PAPER TOWEL.

You will Need: A Paper Towel, Elastic Cord and Glue for this.

YOU CAN MAKE IT OUT OF A CLEAN HANDKERCHIEF

You will need : A handkerchief, hair ties, rubber strings from old masks.

FOR THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO GET  A BIT MORE CREATIVE YOU CAN MAKE IT OUT OF A VACUM BAG!

If you have any other creative way you have made a mask let us know! #997DIYMask.
