ST. JOHN’S THING TO KNOW: How To Celebrate Father’s Day
Why does it seem like it’s harder to know what to give our father’s and father figures for Father’s Day than finding Mom a Mothers Day Gift!
Well if you are stuck on what to get dad or how to celebrate, then here is a list to get you rolling. It is never too late to start a new Father’s Day tradition. Every Father is different but hopefully at least one of these will work!
A PERSONALIZED ANNUAL PHOTO
You can get as creative as you want. Hold a theme or as simple as just holding up a “Happy Father’s Day. And let’s be honest, this might be one of the only person ( other than mom) to get away with gifting a photo of yourself every year.
DONATE TO HIS FAVORITE CHARITY
If there is a cause or organization that your dad is passionate about then why not donate every year in his name!
GIVE DAD A DAD’S COUPON BOOK
You can order one already made or even better, make your own. One Car Wash, One Yard Clean Up/ Garage, a Game Night with dad…think about what your dad would appreciate the most and have fun with your coupons!
Depending on your dads sense of humor of course, why now host a good humored dad’s roast! Good way to catch up and bring the family together. (Due to social distancing can do virtually as well!)
PERSONALIZED ART OR POETRY
You can give dad an empty binder and every year give him a new page with a poem! Same goes for Art, a beautiful drawing inspired by that particular year with dad.
A scrapbook for the year with family adventures, trips and some of your greatest memories! So you can always look back and remember the good times with Dad.
