Dua Lipa Releases New Album- ‘Future Nostalgia’

Dua Lipa is an artist we hold very dear to our hearts at 99.7 NOW. We had her at our 2017 Poptopia when she was just up and coming and we could not be more proud of the amazing success she has had.
Every single that Dua Lipa has put out always brings a smile to our faces and gets us all dancing!
We are so happy to finally listen to her sophomore album ‘Future Nostalgia’, which is truly AMAZING!!
Prior to releasing the album she released three singles: ‘Don’t Start Now’, ‘Future Nostalgia’ and ‘Break My Heart’. ‘Don’t Start Now’ is definitely my personal favorite!
Her last album, ‘Dua Lipa’, was an album that fixated on broken hearts and missing someone. In this new album she positions herself as someone who has the power in the relationship and is a lot more free spirited.
Her song ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ is definitely one that caught my attention as it speaks on what a woman faces everyday. In this song she says “It’s second nature to walk home before the sun goes down, and put your keys between your knuckles when there’s boys around”. All women know what that feeling is like and I’m very excited to see what Dua Lipa has to say in regards to these lyrics in future interviews!
