The Bay Area rapper, E-40, has his own production facility that produces alcohol. After seeing the COVID-19 outbreaks in prison, E-40 decided to convert this line into a hand sanitizer production line.

E-40 gave an interview to ABC7NEWS and said that he asked his distillers for 1,000 gallons of alcohol to donate to Lompoc and San Quentin State prison. Although hand sanitizer is a small step in preventing COVID-19, he is really hoping this makes a difference! Every life matters and I think it’s amazing that E-40 made this generous gesture!

A video was posted on E-40’s Instagram in which he shows the hand sanitizers being packaged and fans are commending him for this good deed. Someone said “…Much respect for remembering the forgotten!”
